More Research, More Open: PNAS Expands Open Access

The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) has announced a two-year open access agreement with the UK’s Joint Information Systems Committee (Jisc).

In simple terms:

More research outputs will be easier to read and access at the moment of publication.

Which means — more openness.

Academic impact rarely happens overnight.

It is built through repeated exposure, discussion, and understanding.

What we consistently focus on is this:

how research can enter more real scholarly contexts,

be seen by the right audiences,

and be properly understood.

When work becomes easier to discover and easier to discuss,

greater impact is usually just a matter of time.
